Khao Wang ,Old Kings Palace9 , Petchaburi

The old palace of the King is a major attraction in Petchaburi. It is 1/2 hr from our Khao Yoi homestay.  The old palace complex is called Khao Wang. The easiest way to the top of the mountian is a $5 cable car. Walking is also possible but you still pay a $5 admission. Either way it is money well spent. Mainly built in the early 1800's it is a stunning collection of buildings on a very prominent site with a commanding view of the area.
